TOPPS SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS HAS A NEW COVER STAR
The Topps 2023 Series 1 cover featured Seattle Mariner and 2022 American League Rookie of the Year, Julio Rodríguez. To leverage his cover star status, we created The J-Rod Show, a humor-focused campaign that captures Rodríguez’s charisma and channels the joy of the card-collecting hobby.
Throughout the campaign, Rodríguez takes the spotlight in a series of classic TV show formats. From a home shopping channel to a Bob Ross parody, J-Rod introduces the Series 1 product into a greater pop culture conversation.
