QUIKSILVER X STRANGER THINGS
AN UPSIDE DOWN ROADTRIP
To launch the Quicksilver x Stranger Things capsule collection we set out on a journey to embrace the Quiksilver DNA, while borrowing from the appeal of the cult favorite Stranger Things. The result was “Strange Surfing” a supernatural campaign that connected with fans of the brand in a new and exciting way.
Our hero film conceptually stitched together Season 4 of Stranger Things' road trip storyline with surf cultures ritual of road-tripping with friends. The film spotlights some of Quiksilver’s biggest names in surfing as they journey into the Upside Down in a salt-stained passenger van.
Lifestyle photography of the four capsule collections were captured at pitstops along the route, ultimately landing in the spore-ridden Upside Down dimension.
The content captured were then assembled into a campaign toolkit, including key visual systems for all four capsules, along with countless bespoke spot graphics used across social, dotcom, and retail.
