STREET ROOTS GALLERY

KAMP Gallery is proud to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Street Roots, a non-profit weekly newspaper providing Portland-based investigative journalism in the realm of social justice. The paper has built a large community of vendors and volunteers (of which KAMP is included), and is sold on the street by people experiencing homelessness and poverty as a means to make a sustainable living. The archive show consists of dozens of artifacts and artworks from Street Root's quarter century of publishing, including a preview of Jim Lommasson's ongoing series What I Carry and a new collection of portraits featuring Street Roots vendors by Gloria Baker Feinstein.
