SOME PEOPLE PRESS GALLERY

KAMP Gallery presents Some People Press, a showcase of autobiographies by formerly incarcerated authors. Since 2022, Portland-based publisher Some People Press, cofounded by Laura Glazer and Harrell Fletcher, hosts a weekly workshop at Columbia River Correctional Institution helping inmates develop writing and editorial skills while working on their personal memoirs. On display were selections from a varied collection of experiences from an often overlooked part of society. Many thanks to Iva Peralta and Alex Compton for providing the soundtrack for the evening.
